It was a gorgeous place for games. Also, we didn't have a chess set, but fashioned a suprisingly passable one out of a piece of cardboard and the interlocking blocks I got from the weekend's Shinteki decathalon.

This is an effort to improve myself as a game-player, to reflect upon and improve my attitude about playing games. [I used to have a really weird, coy description about who this blog was dedicated to. The no bullshit version is, I played a game with Chad, Jake and Mary, and acted like an asshole, and realizing that prompted me to write this blog. "I'm sorry" to everyone whose games I've ruined, even a little. Its helping, if slowly.]
